For builders and contractors
Whole-house mechanical ventilation that your own crew can install in the attic, with no roof penetration and no duct runs. Stocked in the United States, quoted by volume.

Why spec it
No roof cuts
The intake is the home's existing soffit vents, so the roof warranty is untouched and there is no flashing detail to fail later. Per the manufacturer, there is no ductwork either.
Your crew installs it
The manufacturer describes a basic-hand-tools attic installation and reports a typical time of about 90 minutes. The unit weighs 12 lb and plugs into a standard 120 V outlet; a licensed electrician adds the outlet if the attic has none.
Quiet, filtered, low power
33 dB in the attic, 27 W, a built-in MERV-8 filter on the incoming air, and an EC motor rated for 50,000 hours. The manufacturer states it meets ASHRAE 62.2 and IRC M1505.
Applications the manufacturer names
- Production and custom new construction
- Renovations: retrofit-friendly, no wall demolition for ducts
- Multi-family: predictable per-unit cost, compact, quiet for shared walls
- Spec homes that market whole-home filtration
Before you spec it
- Confirm the required rate. The size helper compares the IRC M1505.4.3 rate for the home with the PIV 100NA's 95 CFM; the plan reviewer decides which code edition applies.
- Climate. Supply ventilation is most applicable in hot or mixed climates. In cold climates, get local HVAC advice before specifying it.
- Attic clearance of at least 23 in x 15 in near the soffit vents, and a 120 V outlet.
